SAN ANTONIO – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's tennis team fell 0-7 to the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) on Saturday at the UTSA Tennis Center.
The Vaqueros (0-7) fell behind after doubles as UTSA (3-3) won at No. 2 and 3 doubles to take the point.
In singles, junior
Alicia Thal took her match against Catalina Cabrique to three sets as Thal won the first set 7-5 before falling 3-6. The tiebreaker was tight but Thal fell 6-10 to close out the match.
UTSA won on the other singles court to pick up the victory.
UTRGV will be back in action on Sunday when it visits Incarnate Word at 12 p.m.
