HOUSTON – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's tennis team returns to action when it visits the University of Houston on Saturday at the Winston Tennis Facility.
 
Last Time Out

• UTRGV (1-9) picked up its first win of the season by defeating Laredo Community College 7-0.
• Valeria Montero and Kristyna Mamicova started doubles off with a 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles.
• Katarina Sasaroga and Sandra Putz followed with a 6-1 win at the No. 1 spot to clinch the point. 
• UTRGV swept through singles picking up wins at all spots. 
• UTRGV dropped just four games throughout all the matches. 

 
All-Time Series Against Houston

• UTRGV is 0-10 all-time against Houston in a series that dates back to 2002. 
• Houston won last season's match up 5-2 at the Orville Cox Tennis Center.
