RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men's soccer team (4-3-0, 1-0-0 WAC) is set to host the California Baptist Lancers (6-1-2, 1-0-1 WAC) in their home opener on Sunday at 4 p.m. at the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex.
The Vaqueros opened with the first seven matches on the road and saw their match on Friday be canceled due to inclement weathr. The Vaqueros will now play four out of the next six matches at home.
Admission to the match is free and fans are encouraged to attend.
