KINGSVILLE – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's tennis team hits the road for three matches starting on Saturday against Texas A&M-Kingsville at 11 a.m. at the Javelina Tennis Courts.
Last Time Out
UTRGV last played on Feb. 23 when it dropped its matchup 0-7 to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
The Vaqueros took two of their singles matches to three sets.
Isabelle Bahr opened her match with a 6-4 win in the first set against Camille Townsend but fell 2-6 in the second before going toe-to-toe in the tiebreaker falling 12-14.
Katarina Sasaroga also took her match against Victoire Delattre to three sets as she opened with a 6-4 win in the first. After falling 3-6, Sasaroga fell in the tiebreaker 4-10.
The Islanders won the rest of the matches to clinch the win.
Facing Texas A&M-Kingsville
- The Javelinas are 0-1 on the season.
