RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's soccer team fell 1-0 to the California Baptist University Lancers in its home finale on Saturday at the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex.
The Lancers (9-2-2, 7-2-1 WAC) got out to the 1-0 lead in the 19

Ari Coronado streaking up the left side and where she found the net for her fourth goal of the season.
The Vaqueros (8-4-2, 5-4-1 WAC) attempted four shots on goal but CBU goalie
Romane Salvador made four saves to keep the clean sheet.
The Lancers outshot the Vaqueros 14 to 8.

Maile Lunardi made two saves on the afternoon.
UTRGV will be back in action on April 1 at 8 p.m. when it faces off against Dixie State at Greater Zion Stadium.
