BROOKINGS, SD – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's soccer team (0-0-0) kicks off the regular season when it faces off against the South Dakota State Jackrabbits (1-0-0) on Sunday at 12 p.m. at Fishback Sports Park.

The original season opener was scheduled for Friday at South Dakota but was canceled after UTRGV had travel issues. UTRGV will be back in action on Friday, August 27 when it hosts Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 7 p.m. for its home opener.
