RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics issued a challenge to their baseball fans on Monday to attend all three $2 Tuesday games to earn $2 general admission to the May 13 baseball game against Sam Houston at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.
 
Any fans purchasing tickets to this Tuesday's game against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, which is part of the South Texas Showdown, presented by Navy Army Community Credit Union, will be given a punch card that can be presented at the March 29 game against Houston Baptist and the April 19 game against Incarnate Word. Upon presenting their ticket to each game at the gate, fans will have their card punched.
 
All Tuesday home games start at 6:30 p.m. Gates open one hour before game time.
 
Fans that attend all three $2 Tuesday games can redeem their punch card for a $2 general admission ticket on Friday, May 13 for the 7 p.m. game against Sam Houston at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.
 
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at UTRGVTickets.com or on game day at the box office if available.
