ABILENE – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros baseball team (21-15, 7-8 WAC) opens the second half of the Western Athletic Conference season with a three-game series against the Abilene Christian University Wildcats (18-18, 7-8 WAC) on Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday with a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. at Crutcher Scott Field.
The series was originally scheduled to be contested Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 3 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m., but schedule changes were made due to expected inclement weather.
