RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men's soccer team learned on Friday that graduate student Bryant Farkarlun has been named to the All-Western Athletic Conference (WAC) First Team and freshman Keaviano Francis has been named to the All-WAC Freshman Team, as voted on by the WAC head coaches.
 
Farkarlun played in 12 matches while making 11 starts this season for the Vaqueros and tied for the team lead with five goals and 10 points. Farkarlun scored goals against Marquette, Xavier, Grand Canyon, and scored a pair of goals against San Jose State and finished his career with 22 career goals.
 
Francis played in all 15 matches this season while making 13 starts. He finished third on the team with three goals while adding an assist for seven points. Francis made his collegiate debut at SMU where he scored his first-career goal. Francis recorded his first-career multi-goal match against Texas A&M-San Antonio and his first-career assist at Air Force.
 
Additionally, Francis made Top Drawer Soccer's Freshmen Top 100 coming ranked No. 68 this season.
