EUGENE, Oregon – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) track & field freshmen Jedidiah Udunna and Jamari Harts showed good effort as they competed during Day Two of the USA Track & Field Under-20 Outdoor Championships Saturday at Hayward Field.
On his third attempt, Udunna marked 6.65 meters to finish 13th in the men's long jump competition. Harts clocked in at 49.66 in the first round of the men's 400-meter dash to finish 15th.
The U20 Outdoor Championships come to a close Sunday. Freshman Symoria Adkins will compete in the first round of the women's 200-meter dash at 4:41 p.m. and, if she advances, the final is scheduled for 6:46 p.m.
