HAMMOND, La. – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley's (UTRGV) men's tennis team wrapped up competition at the Southland Conference (SLC) Individual Tennis Championships Saturday. 
 
Redshirt junior Sam Whitehead and sophomore Ivo Isqueiro fell 6-0, 6-4 to the No. 1 seed Pablo Perez Ramos/Wil Jenkins of NJIT in the doubles semifinal round. The Vaqueros duo reached the second round after picking up a resounding 6-3, 6-2 win Friday against Nicholls.
