RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team is riding momentum into Saturday's Southland Conference (SLC) game against the Lamar Cardinals.
The Vaqueros (4-5, 1-0 SLC) opened their first SLC season with a big win over Stephen F. Austin and now looks to knock off the preseason favorite to win the conference in the Cardinals (4-3, 0-0 SLC). UTRGV and Lamar will play at 2 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse. UTRGV's last win against Lamar was in 1997.
Fans unable to attend the game can watch domestically on
ESPN+ and internationally on
Southland International. All fans must follow the clear bag and photo policies, among others, in place for the UTRGV Fieldhouse. More information can be found
