RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team will be hosting the East Texas A&M (ETAMU) Lions at the UTRGV Fieldhouse for the first time as the teams face off in a Southland Conference (SLC) game Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
The Vaqueros (7-8, 2-2 SLC) are 0-1 all-time against the Lions (4-9, 1-3 SLC), but the programs haven't played each other since 1986. UTRGV is 3-2 in its last five games while the Lions are 1-4 in their last five. The Vaqueros are 5-3 when playing at home this season.
Fans unable to attend the game can watch domestically via
ESPN+ or internationally on
Southland International. All fans must follow the clear bag and photo policies, among others, in place for the UTRGV Fieldhouse. More information can be found
