SAN MARCOS, Texas – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team is back on the road Monday to face the Texas State Bobcats at 7 p.m. at Strahan Arena in a non-conference game. 

The Vaqueros (2-1) are coming off a tough loss at Abilene Christian in their first road challenge of the season. Texas State (0-3) is looking for its first win of the season. The last four games between these programs have been decided by less than 10 points, including a pair of one-possession games. UTRGV is excited for the test and looking for its first win in San Marcos in 15 years.
