RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team continues the opening week of the 2025-26 season at home Friday with a 6:30 p.m. game against the Arlington Baptist Patriots at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.

The Vaqueros (1-0) and Patriots (1-3) played last season and the Vaqueros picked up a 110-37 victory, tying the highest scoring game in program history and breaking the record for largest margin of victory.  

Fans can purchase tickets online at UTRGVTickets.com. Students get in free with a valid student ID but will need to claim a ticket at GoUTRGV.com/StudentTickets. All fans need to follow the clear bag policy and photo policies, among others, details of which can be found here.
