RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) baseball team will face an alumni team made up of some of the best players to come through the program in recent seasons in an exhibition game on Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.
Fans of all ages can purchase $10 general admission tickets at UTRGVTickets.com with proceeds directly benefiting the baseball program through the Vaqueros Athletic Fund. Like all home games, current UTRGV students will be able to get free general admission as the game approaches by claiming tickets at GoUTRGV.com/StudentTickets.
The alumni game is not included in the 2026 season ticket package and all season ticket holders planning to attend will be required to purchase tickets.
Season ticket holders with premium seats, including suites, corrals, or seats in the home plate club, have until Feb. 2 at 5 p.m. to purchase the same seats for the alumni game at the following price levels:
•Home Plate Club – $10 per seat
•Corrals – $100 per corral
•Suites – $200 per suite
Any remaining home plate club seats will go on sale Feb. 3. If any premium seats are available, fans who have already purchased general admission tickets will be able to upgrade their tickets by paying the difference in price. Fans interested in sitting in premium seats can contact UTRGV Chief of Staff/Associate Athletic Director for Development Eddie Galvan at (956) 665-3415 or eduardo.galvan02@utrgv.edu.
Attendees at the alumni game will be able to purchase new season tickets at a $25 discount, meaning $200 reserved seats and $100 general admission seats. This offer is only good in-person during the alumni game.
Twenty-nine alumni have already confirmed their participation, including:
