RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men's basketball team (2-5) returns home to host the Austin Peay Governors (4-4) on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.
Sunday will feature a Teddy Bear Toss, presented by Driscoll Children's Hospital. Fans are encouraged to bring in a stuffed animal or teddy bear to throw onto the court at halftime. All stuffed animals will be donated to Driscoll and distributed to kids in the hospital during the holidays.
Fans can purchase tickets online at
UTRGVTickets.com. Students get in free with a valid student ID but will need to claim a ticket at
GoUTRGV.com/StudentTickets. All fans need to follow the clear bag policy and photo policies, among others, details of which can be found
here.
