RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Monday the promotions that will run during all 25 baseball home games during the 2025 season.
 
All Sunday home games feature the Family Fun Day: 4 for $44 promotion which includes four general admission tickets, four drinks, and four hot dogs for $44.
 
For games on Feb. 15 and March 1, fans will be able to take advantage of the Basketball/Baseball Ticket Bundle, which gives fans the opportunity to attend a baseball game and the men's and women's basketball doubleheader with a ticket to either event on that day.
 
UTRGV is bringing back the fan-favorite $2 Tuesday for the games on March 18 and April 22, during which general admission tickets are $2 and select concession items will be available for $2 or less.
 
Additionally, there are several promotions that take place during games:
DQ Blast
If a Vaquero hits a home run, all fans in attendance receive coupons for a free blizzard from Dairy Queen.
 
Wing Barn Fans of the Game
The 10 most spirited fans at each game receive $10 gift cards to Wing Barn.

•The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive free UTRGV "LOVE" t-shirts.

Baseball/Basketball Bundle
•Fans that purchase a ticket to this game will receive free general admission to the women's and men's basketball doubleheader vs. Houston Christian at 2 and 4:30 p.m. or vice versa.

Presented by Main Event • Texas Regional Bank Card Day • Family Fun Day: 4 for $44
•Fans will receive all you can play wristbands, courtesy of Main Event, good from Sunday through Thursday.
•Fans that bring their Vaquero Debit Card from Texas Regional Bank will receive free general admission to the game.

Educators Appreciation Night
•Free general admission for PK-12 teachers with a school ID.
 
Sunday, Feb. 23, 11 a.m. Doubleheader vs. North Dakota State
Presented by Main Event • Yacht Rock Day • Family Fun Day: 4 for $44
•Fans will receive all you can play wristbands, courtesy of Main Event, good from Sunday through Thursday.
•Music from the likes of The Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, etc. will be played throughout the day.

Friday, Feb. 28, 6:30 p.m. vs. Lamar
•The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive free "Our Valley, Our Team, Our Time" t-shirts.

Western Night, presented by Vaquero Outfitters • Baseball/Basketball Bundle • Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day
•The first 500 fans in attendance will receive free UTRGV rally towels.
•Come dressed in your best western attire to take part in a contest honoring the best dressed.
•Western music will be played throughout the night.
•Fans that purchase a ticket to this game will receive free general admission to the women's and men's basketball doubleheader vs. New Orleans at 2 and 4:30 p.m. or vice versa.
•Free general admission for current UTRGV faculty and staff with an employee ID.

•In honor of the hit movie and musical, Wicked, come dressed in your best costume from Wicked with a chance to be popular by competing in the costume contest.
•Music from Wicked, both the movie and the musical, will be played throughout the night.

Alumni Mixer and Hall of Fame Night
•UTRGV and legacy institution alumni are invited to come to a mixer starting at 5:30 p.m.
•The 2025 Hall of Fame and Hall of Honor induction class will throw out ceremonial first pitches.

956 Night • 50^th Anniversary of 1975 Team
•The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free "956" t-shirt.
•Help us welcome back the 1975 team to celebrate the 50^th anniversary of their record setting team that finished the season with a program record .900 winning percentage by going 63-7 en route to a berth in the NCAA South Central Regionals.
