Corin Burns advanced to the men's 200-meter dash quarterfinals Wednesday on Day 1 of the meet.
Burns ran 20.87, the No. 4 time in program history, in Heat 3 of 6 in the first round of the 200 dash. He finished 22
nd and time-qualified as a top 24 finisher to run in the quarterfinals, set for 7:50 p.m. Friday.
Freshman
Richard Young was 40
th in the 200-meter dash in 21.27.
Sophomore
Keamonie Archie finished 43
rd with a mark of 5.46 meters. He fouled on his first two attempts before finding the board on the third, but his mark fell short of moving on.
The women will get underway Thursday as junior
