RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Tuesday that a limited number of tailgating spots remain available for purchase in both the tailgate lot, located on the lawns on the west side of the Robert & Janet Vackar Stadium parking lot, and in the H-E-B tailgate zone, located on the east side of the stadium.
 
Fans can purchase tailgating spots by contacting a member of the UTRGV Athletics staff at (956) 665-4205 or through email at tickets@utrgv.edu.

A designated student tailgating section will be reserved in the tailgate zone. Additionally, Robert & Janet Vackar Stadium features a designated corporate partner tailgate zone to enhance the fan experience on game day.
 
Tailgating spaces measure 20x20 and are available in the tailgate lot for $400 each for the season. These spaces allow fans to create their own traditions and tailgate experience on college football Saturdays in the Valley.
 
Additional spaces remain available for tailgating in the H-E-B tailgate zone with a variety of turnkey packages. Tailgaters can choose the base package, which includes a 10x20 tent, a 6-foot table and five folding chairs for $2,500 for the season, or the premium package, which includes a 20x20 tent, two 6-foot folding tables, and 10 chairs, for $5,000 for the season. Fans can enhance their tailgate experience with entertainment packages and various add-ons at additional costs.

The H-E-B tailgate zone also includes existing pavilions available for purchase for tailgating. Pavilions are $1,500, pavilions with water and electricity are $2,000, and larger-sized pavilions are $3,000.

Tickets are not required to enter the tailgate areas. 
 
Tailgating packages, including add-ons, are priced for the full season, covering all home UTRGV football games at Robert & Janet Vackar Stadium. All pavilions and tailgate spaces will be assigned and reserved for the season.
