RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is donating 200 tickets to Veteran Tickets Foundation, 100 for Vet Tix and 100 for 1st Tix, for the men's basketball game against UIW, which is Community Heroes Day, on Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.
Veterans, serving and retired law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMTs, nurses and 911 Dispatchers can claim their tickets at
VetTix.org while supplies last.
Season ticket holders can donate their unused tickets for Community Heroes Day and other UTRGV home games by using the ticket transfer feature in
Showpass and sending them via email to
donate@vettix.org. Ticket donations to 1st Tix are tax deductible and fans will receive an email confirming the benefits of their donation. For more details on the ticket transfer process, visit
