EUGENE, ORE. – Three freshmen will be representing The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) track & field Thursday and Friday at the USA Track & Field U20 Championships hosted at the iconic Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.

JaDan Keiler and
Dior Williams qualified for the meet, as well as high jumper
Antwoine Warren. Keiler gets the action started Thursday at 3:26 p.m. (CT) in the first round of the men's 400-meter hurdles. He will run in the second of four heats aiming for a top-9 finish to advance to finals. The winner of each heat plus the next five best times will move on. Keiler's best time in the event during the 2026 outdoor season was 52.44.
All three Vaqueros will be competing Friday. Warren gets the day started at 6 p.m. in men's high jump, where he'll face 19 other jumpers. Warren won the Southland Conference (SLC) indoor men's high jump championship in his rookie season and had an outdoor season-best clearance of 2.16 meters.
Williams will run in the first round of the women's 100-meter hurdles at 6:18 p.m. Friday. She's in the first of two heats, and the top three in each heat plus the next three best times will move on to the final, which is scheduled for 7:13 p.m. Keiler will race in the first of two heats in the men's 110-meter hurdles first round at 6:28 p.m. trying to get a top three heat finish or one of the next three best times to compete in finals at 7:19 p.m. If Keiler gets out of Thursday's 400 hurdles preliminary race, he'll run in the long hurdles final at 6:44 p.m.
Williams heads to the meet with a qualifying time of 13.36. She reached the NCAA West First Round in the 100 hurdles and was the silver medalist and All-Conference Second Team honoree in the event at SLC Outdoor Championships. Williams also won gold at the conference meet and competed at the NCAA West preliminary with the 4x100-meter relay. Keiler topped out at 14.19 in the 110 hurdles at SLC Outdoor Championships.
