UTRGV Athletics Unveils Updated Football Game Day Information for 2026 Season

RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics unveiled on Friday a list of updated football game day information for the 2026 season, all of which can be found at RallyTheValley.com.

RallyTheValley.com is the all-inclusive website designed to provide fans with up-to-date football game day information, including tickets, parking, tailgating, student information, transportation, stadium maps, dining, premium seating, game themes, game day coverage, and an A-Z guide.

Key updates for the 2026 season include UTRGV's new partnership with Paciolan, single-game ticket process, tailgating policies and information, and transportation updates.

Paciolan

Earlier this month, UTRGV Athletics announced a 10-year partnership with Paciolan to deliver industry-leading ticketing and marketing solutions for the Vaqueros.

All fans are required to create an account with Paciolan to purchase, manage, or use tickets to all UTRGV Athletic venues, including Robert & Janet Vackar Stadium. To create your account, visit UTRGVTickets.com.

Single-Game Ticket Process

Single-game tickets will go on sale at 8 a.m. the Monday of a home game week. If available, additional tickets that are not claimed by the visiting team will go on sale at 8 a.m. Friday, the day before the game. Fans will be able to purchase up to six tickets for the game by logging into their Paciolan account.

All UTRGV football tickets will use NFC scanning; therefore, screenshots of tickets will not grant entry. Fans are encouraged to download their tickets to their respective digital wallets to ensure a quick and seamless entry into the stadium.

UTRGV announced in April the expansion of the south end zone by approximately 1,500 seats, increasing the capacity of the Wingstop Student Section and overall capacity of Robert & Janet Vackar Stadium. The student section will now be entirely in the end zone with a capacity of 3,250. The overall capacity of Vackar Stadium is increasing to 13,498, up from 12,000 in 2025.

Due to the stadium expansion, there will be more single-game tickets available for purchase this season than there were during the inaugural season. Single-game pricing is staying the same as 2025:

Sections 105-107: $50
Sections 103-104, 108-109, 116-118: $35
Sections 101-102, 110-111: $25
Sections 113-115, 119-127: $20
Standing Room Only: $15

Fans can purchase single-game tickets at UTRGVTickets.com the week of a home football game.

Parking and Tailgating Policies

All parking and tailgating lots will now open seven hours prior to kickoff, two hours earlier than in 2025. Fans bringing their own grills will now be able to use charcoal grills as well, provided they dispose of their coals properly in designated containers.

A limited number of spots in the H-E-B Tailgate Zone and North and South Tailgate lots are available. Fans interested in purchasing tailgate spots can contact assistant athletic director for ticket sales and operations Nick Swanson at (956) 665-4205 or through email at tickets@utrgv.edu.

Like last year, fans in the H-E-B Tailgate Zone will have the ability to enhance their tailgate experience with grills, coolers, and entertainment packages for an additional cost, all set up for them by QualityTents with no hassle. Packages are available at UTRGVFootballTailgates.com.

Rideshare

All rideshare services will now drop fans off between Gorena Elementary School and Cano/Gonzalez Elementary School on E Freddy Gonzalez Dr.
