RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Monday that a limited number of tailgating spots are now available for purchase on a game-by-game basis in the H-E-B Tailgate Zone, located on the east side of Robert & Janet Vackar Stadium.

Tailgaters can choose from packages that include a 6-foot table and five folding chairs in addition to tents that are 10x10 ($330), 10x20 ($450), and 20x20 ($790).
The H-E-B Tailgate Zone also includes existing pavilions available for purchase for tailgating. Pavilions are $250, pavilions with water and electricity are $330, and larger-sized pavilions are $495.
Fans can also enhance their tailgate experience is the North and South Tailgate Lots with entertainment packages and various add-ons including grills, coolers, and entertainment packages at an additional cost and have it all set up for them by QualityTents, the exclusive tenting service provider of UTRGV Athletics, with no hassle. Tailgating begins seven hours prior to kickoff. Game tickets are not required to enter the tailgate areas. Complete tailgating policies can be found at
