RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced Tuesday the timeline surrounding student tickets for the 2026 football season, including the ability for students to claim tickets starting on Tuesdays and guest tickets starting on Thursdays ahead of every Saturday home game.
There are over 3,000 students tickets available due to the south end zone expansion that is allowing all current UTRGV students to sit together in one centralized location – the Wingstop Student Section.
Every Tuesday, current UTRGV students will receive instruction to their UTRGV email accounts as to how to claim their free ticket for that week's game through UTRGV's new ticketing partner, Paciolan.
Should inventory remain available on Thursday, students who have already claimed tickets will be able to purchase guest tickets.
The claims process will remain open until all student section tickets have been claimed.
Students are encouraged to claim their tickets as early as possible, as availability is limited.
Tickets are valid only for the Wingstop Student Section and cannot be used for admission to any other section of the stadium.
