2024 Cross Country (Freshman): Competed at the NCAA Div. I South Central Regional… Finished 65^th at the SLC Championships… Ran an 8K personal best time of 27:00.0 to finish 19^th at the West Side Classic… Was 63^rd at the UIW Invitational… Made collegiate debut at the Opener at the Seashore and took 16^th. 

Prior to UTRGV (Laredo Nixon High School): Guzman earned back-to-back runner-up finishes at the District 30-5A cross country meets in 2023 and 2022, helping Laredo Nixon win both team titles. He tabbed two top-25 finishes at the Region IV-5A meet with a career-best 17^th-place finish in 2022. Guzman took eighth in the 5A-6A race at the Border Olympics as a senior and junior. On the track, Guzman won the District 30-5A title in the 3,200-meter run and was the runner-up in the 1,600-meter run as a senior. He was third and fourth in the respective events at the area meet to punch a ticket to the 2024 Region IV-5A meet, where he was seventh in both races. Guzman holds personal bests of 15:58.3 at the 5,000-meter distance, 4:30 in the 1,600 and 9:42 in the 3,200.
