2025-26 (Redshirt Senior): First season with the program. 

2024-25 (Redshirt Junior, South Plains): Played in 33 games while making 20 starts ... averaged 12.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game ... shot 39.8% from the floor while shooting 38% from three-point range.

2023-24 (Redshirt Sophomore, Wichita State): Played in 12 games ... averaged 1.8 points and 1.9 rebounds per game.

2022-23 (Redshirt Freshman, Wichita State): Named to the Spring Athletic Director's Honor Roll ... Appeared in 12 games and tallied 21 points, 11 rebounds and a pair of steals in 88 minutes of action … Converted 7-of-20 field goal attempts (.350), including 3-of-12 threes (.250), and converted 4-of-6 free throws (.667) … Made his collegiate debut in the season opener against Central Arkansas and finished with four points and two boards while clocking a season-high 21 minutes … Set personal-bests with five points and four rebounds and nailed his first three-pointer in a home win over Longwood (Dec. 10) … Made his American Athletic Conference debut and hit a three against East Carolina (Dec. 31) … Clocked six minutes and went 1-for-2 from deep in a road game at No. 1 Houston (Mar. 2).

2021-22 (Freshman, Wichita State): Took a redshirt while acclimating to college basketball... Made a positive impression in the preseason exhibition against Missouri Southern State, collecting five points, four rebounds, two assists and a steal in eight minutes... Had surgery in December to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee and spent the remainder of the season rehabbing... Made the Athletic Director's Honor Roll (3.0+ GPA) in both semesters... Also earned a spot on the AAC's All-Academic Team (3.0+ GPA for the academic year)... Winner of WSU's Shelley Cox Academic Leadership Award for 2021-22.

2018-21 (Oak Hill Academy/Sylvan Hills High School): Played two seasons for one of the nation’s elite high school programs, Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Va… Rivals three-star recruit ranked No. 167 in 247Sports’ composite… Signed with WSU in early June, 2021 over offers from Arkansas, Oklahoma State and TCU, among others.... Averaged 10.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 steals as a senior (2020-21) while shooting 39 percent from three and 84 percent at the foul line … Put up a season-high 25 points against eventual national champion, Montverde Academy… Helped his team to a top-25 national ranking and a quarterfinal run at the 2021 GEICO Nationals… As a junior, helped his team to a 36-3 record a GEICO Nationals invitation but missed out on a chance to compete for a national title when COVID-19 canceled the event.… Coached by Steve Smith… Maintained a 4.0 GPA and was a member of the National Honor Society… Prior to Oak Hill, played his first two high school seasons at Sylvan Hills High School in his hometown of Sherwood, Ark., earning all-conference honors as a freshman... Played for Joe Johnson’s AAU team, the Arkansas Hawks, and considers Johnson a mentor.
 
Charity Stripe: Son of Clinton and Lavette Ricks, who both served 20+ years in the Air Force and one of his brothers was a captain ... Named after former NBA standout Jalen Rose... Has three brothers... Played his first basketball at the Little Rock Air Force Base youth center at age five … Enjoys drawing in his spare time... Has a large sneaker collection with somewhere between 40 and 50 pairs.
