2004 [Junior Season]
For the second consecutive season, Redd recorded 300-plus kills on the year... finished the season ranked second in the UTPA record books in total blocks (240), third in block assists (186) and fourth in kills (838)... ranked first on the team in kills (301), second in kills per game (2.76) and total attacks (852)... was fourth on the Lady Broncs with a .189 hitting percentage... notched the eighth-best single-season mark in block assists that season... named to the McAllen Holiday Inn UTPA Invitational All-Tournament team, finishing with 45 kills and 12 total blocks over the four matches... had her best match of the tournament against Oklahoma (Sept. 4) when she notched 14 kills and six blocks... recorded 14 matches of 10 or more kills on the season... picked up her best offensive contest against Texas A&M - Corpus Christi (Oct. 12) when she killed 18 of her 40 total attacks to record a .375 hitting percentage... notched a season-high six blocks in the contest for the second time that season... was seventh on the team in service aces (15), including three aces in the contest against Northern Colorado (Oct. 15)... recorded a career-high 46 total attacks in the match against Utah Valley State (Oct. 16)... matched her career-high with six digs in that contest... collected 15 kills against Texas A&M - International (Oct. 30) and 15 kills versus Utah Valley State (Oct. 15)... cited as a Bronc Pride 3.0 Club member while earning Dean[apos]s List Second Honors... honored by UTPA as a Who[apos]s Who Among American College and Universities Students.
2003 [Sophomore Season]
Redd had a standout year for the Lady Broncs both offensively and defensively... finished first on the team in block solos (20) and second in block assists (79) and total blocks (99)... had 12 matches of four or more blocks during the year... recorded a career-high seven blocks twice during the season, both coming against Texas A&M - International (Sept. 27/Oct. 7)... ranked third in UTPA[apos]s single-season record for block assists and fourth in total blocks... finished third on the team in kills (320) and service aces (36) and fourth in total attacks (826) and hitting percentage (.228)... had a career-high 22 kills against Prairie View A&M (Nov. 10) and 18 kills versus Dillard (Sept. 20)... ended the season with 15 matches of 10 or more kills... against Grambling State, she had a hitting percentage of .786 (11-0-14)... hit better than .400 on seven occasions... tied for eighth on the all-time single-season hitting percentage record with a .228 percentage... played in all 126 games, which was the second most in program history... was a Bronc Pride 3.0 Club member... garnered Dean[apos]s List First Honors as well as UTPA Athletic Director[apos]s Honor Roll accolades.
2002 [Freshman Season]
Redd made an immediate impact earning Independent All-Freshman honors in her first season with UTPA... led the Lady Broncs in blocks solos (19) and total blocks (66)... was second in block assists (47)... recorded five blocks on four occasions... was fourth on the squad in kills (217), total attacks (559) and hitting percentage (.202)... posted a season-high 19 kills against Texas Southern (Sept. 21)... was second on the squad in service aces (33) and recorded a career-high seven aces versus Tulsa (Sept. 20)... earned Bronc Pride 3.0 Club honors during the fall semester.
High School
Redd was a first team All-District 25-5A selection as a junior and senior... was named the Most Valuable Player at Seguin High School in each of her last two seasons... awarded with the Gatorade Will to Win Athletic Award as a senior... served as the team captain during her senior season... captured all-tournament honors at the St. Mary[apos]s Hall Tournament... played for the Alamo 18 Kaepa Club... was a member of the National Honor Society, Vocational Technology Honor Society, Health Occupations Students of America and Who[apos]s Who Among American High School Students... was active in both Student Council and Spirit Club Committee.
Off the Court
Redd is the daughter of Margaret and Howard Redd ... born on Mar. 16, 1984... has two sisters, Sabrina and Inga, and one brother, Aaron.... majoring in nursing.
