2010-13 (San Ysidro High School): In 73 games across three years on the varsity team, hit .443 (89-for-201) with 21 doubles, six triples, five home runs, 53 RBI and 48 runs scored … As a senior, hit .446 with a career-high .610 on-base percentage and a career-best .734 slugging percentage … Hit a career-high .466 as a junior.
Off the Field: Son of Jesus Garcia and Guadalupe Moreno Arvayo … Has one brother, Jesus, who played baseball at UTPA from 2013-15, and one sister, Zarithza.
