2021 Cross Country (Freshman): Did not compete in any meets.

2021 Outdoor Track & Field (Freshman): Finished 12^th in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:05.44 at the WAC Championships (5/15) … PRed in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 3:59.60 at the Victor Lopez Classic (3/27) … PRed in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:01.27 at the Rice Invitational (3/9).
 
2021 Indoor Track & Field (Freshman): Team did not compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.

2020-21 Cross Country (Freshman): Ran the 8K in a time of 27:29.30 to finish 50^th at WAC Championships (2/27) … In first collegiate race, placed 33^rd in the 8K with a time of 26:47 at UIW Invitational (1/29).



2016-20 (Vela High School): Nino and fellow signee Ramsey Moreno teamed up to win two 4x800-meter relays and a 4x1,600-meter relay while finishing second in a DMR as seniors. The aforementioned 4x1,600 result was also the best of Nino’s career … Best DMR came as a sophomore, also at the Texas Relays, finishing in 10:47.78 while running the 1,200-meter leg … Competed in the SMR as a sophomore, finishing with a time of 3:44.48 … PR’s in individual events all came as a junior, with an 800-meter time of 1:57.41, a 1,6000-meter time of 4:26.19, and a 3,200-meter time of 9:34.31 to win three UIL 6A District 31 Championships … Added another district championship in cross country, winning the 5K with a PR of 15:27.4 as a senior … PR in the three-mile race is 14:44.3, coming at the 2018 UIL 6A Region 4 Championships.
