2009 Season [RS Junior]

2007 Season [Sophomore]
In his second season with the Broncs, Garcia posted a .258 batting average with 42 hits in 163 at-bats... collected seven doubles, two triples, and one home run... drove in 13 runs while plating 24 runs in 53 games... recorded a .344 slugging percentage and a .391 on-base percentage during his sophomore season... led the team in triples... appeared in 53 games and started in 48 contests... collected two hits, including one RBI and two runs scored against Texas A&M - Corpus Christi (Feb. 20)... posted one hit, one run scored and one double versus Prairie View A&M (Mar. 7)... recorded one hit, including a walk, to go along with a home run and four RBI versus Dallas Baptist (Apr. 20)... posted a .931 fielding percentage in 72 total chances... first-time Academic All-Independent award recipient.

2006 Season [Freshman]
In his first season with the Broncs, Garcia was one of the top offensive players as the UTPA Freshman posted a .303 batting average with 33 hits in 109 at-bats... collected nine doubles, three triples and one home run to go along with 22 RBI and 17 runs scored... appeared in 42 games and started 30 contests... posted a .468 slugging percentage and .403 on-bases percentage to go along with 19 walks and a pair of hit-by-pitches... connected on his first collegiate home run against nationally-ranked University of Texas (Apr. 25) where he drove in two runs in that game... collected three hits, including a pair of doubles, to go along with two runs scored against Prairie View A&M (Mar. 14)... notched three hits, including a double, and one RBI and one run against the University of Arkansas-Little Rock (Mar. 16)... collected six multi-hit performances during his first season with the squad... collected two hits, three runs scored and one RBI against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Mar. 25)... recorded two hits, two RBI and one run scored in the follow-up game against the Islanders (Mar. 26)... collected two hits and drove in two runs against Stephen F. Austin (Apr. 19)... selected to the UTPA Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the first time in his career... earned Dean's List Second Honors during the fall semester... cited as a Bronc Pride 3.0 Club member during the fall and spring semesters.

McAllen Memorial High School
Garcia was a standout at McAllen Memorial High School where he recorded a .500 batting average with 14 doubles, four triples and one home run during his senior campaign... earned first team All-State, All-District 31-5A and All-Rio Grande Valley in his final season... broke the school single-season record for stolen bases with 30 as a senior... selected as the Most Valuable Player and Golden Spike Award recipient for the Mustangs.
