Contributed in the field, at the plate and on the mound as a junior during the 2003 season......Started at five different positions, including four games on the mound.....Posted the second best earned run average on the staff.....Was one of three pitchers to earn a save.....Won the first two games he pitched in, against Schreiner and Lamar.....Had three hits twice, against Iona and Southeastern Louisiana.......Hit .375 as a sophomore at SEWARD COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE.....Had 24 doubles, five home runs, and 56 runs batted in while scoring 39 runs......Pitched and played third base and the outfield....Named to the Dean[apos]s Honor Roll.
Batted .545 as a senior at CANON CITY HIGH SCHOOL...... Earned first team All-Conference honors in baseball in each of his final three seasons....Also named All-Area as a sophomore, junior and senior.....Pitched and played shortstop...Honorable mention All-State as a quarterback in football....Honorable Mention Academic All-State.
