Football Season Ticket Renewal Timeline

November 1, 2025

UTRGV Football renewals begin for season tickets, parking and North & South Tailgate Lots. Fans can renew online through their Showpass account and opt-in to add/change/upgrade their seats and parking. Fans who opt-in to add/change/upgrade seats will not lose their current seats and are not required to move seats during the upgrade process.

January 31, 2026

Last day of UTRGV Football season ticket renewals. Deadline to earn Vaqueros Loyalty Points towards the seat upgrade process.

Spring 2026

UTRGV Football season ticket holders that opted in to the upgrade process will be contacted by a member of the UTRGV Tickets team.

Spring/Summer 2026

Should any seats remain, the UTRGV Tickets team will begin reaching out to the season ticket waitlist.
 

Renewal Information

Fans can now renew their season tickets, parking and North & South Tailgate Lot passes from November 1 - January 31, 2026. Fans must renew in order to opt in to the seat upgrade process in the spring. H-E-B Tailgate Zone purchasers will receive renewal information at a later date. Pricing for all season tickets, parking and North & South Tailgate Lots will remain the same for the 2026 season. Any seats that are not renewed by the January 31, 2026 deadline will be released and removed from accounts. If you purchased more season tickets than you needed, we encourage you to give others the opportunity to enjoy Vaqueros football by giving up unused season tickets. Renewal Process

Login to your Showpass account and click on "Memberships." Select the UTRGV Football Season Passes and UTRGV Football Parking & Tailgating. Click "Renew Membership" and follow the listed instructions.

Seat Upgrade Process

Fans who have renewed their season tickets and selected the desire to upgrade will have the opportunity to do so in the spring. Fans will be assigned a date and time to make their selection based on their Vaqueros Loyalty Points ranking. Only points accumulated through January 31 will be considered for the seat upgrade process. Loyalty points accumulated after the January 31 deadline will determine priority for future seat selection, seat upgrades, and additional ticket requests/benefits. UTRGV Athletics is communicating directly with season ticket members by email. Season ticket members are encouraged to mark vaqueros@goutrgv.ccsend.com as a trusted source to ensure they receive the emails.  If you have any questions, email a member of the UTRGV Athletics staff at tickets@utrgv.edu.

Vaqueros Loyalty Points

The Vaqueros Loyalty Points program will ensure that the seat and suite selection processes are fair, equitable, and transparent.

Additionally, Vaqueros Loyalty Points will determine priority when it comes to allocating seat relocation requests, new or additional season ticket requests, premium seating requests, parking, tailgating, neutral site and postseason ticket requests, and other giving benefits for all sports.

Vaqueros Loyalty Points are earned based on donations to UTRGV Athletics and season ticket purchase history dating back to 2017-18. Each giving category is assigned a specific point value which is added to each member’s point total. Point values from each category will be combined to create point totals that will determine rankings, which will be determined quarterly and provided upon request.

Supporters earn one point for every $100 of lifetime giving to athletics, one point for every $100 of giving to athletics in the current year, one point per year of giving to athletics, five points for season ticket(s) purchased per sport per year, and 100 points per $10,000 pledged as a donation. Additionally, supporters can earn one-time points totaling three for every $1,000 of sponsorship spend dating back to 2017-18, 10 points for being a graduate of UTRGV and its legacy institutions (awarded once, not per degree), 10 points for being a lifetime Varsity Club member, 20 points for being a former student-athlete who graduated from UTRGV or its legacy institutions, and 100 points for Silver Buckle Society members (those who have generously gifted at least $1 million to UTRGV).
