2004 [Freshman Season]
In his first season with the Broncs, Rodriguez finished with a .262 batting average after he recorded 11 hits in 42 plate appearances... recorded three multi-hit games during his rookie season with the Broncs... accumulated a 3.54 earned run average on the mound where he struck out 10 hitters in 20.1 innings of action... recorded his first collegiate win against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Apr. 9)... selected to the Bronc Pride 3.0 Club for the first time in his career during the spring semester.

Edinburg North High School
Rodriguez captured first team All-District 31-5A, All-Rio Grande Valley and All-Area honors during his senior season at Edinburg North High School... posted a .443 batting average with 37 hits, which included one home run, 10 doubles and six triples... drove in 38 runs as a senior while plating 25 runs... played in the South Texas All-Star Game following his senior season... recorded a .440 batting average with 37 runs batted in during his junior season... earned first team All-District 31-5A, All-Rio Grande Valley and All-Area honors that season... set a school record for hits in his career... played quarterback at Edinburg North High School where he was a second team All-District 31-5A performer as a senior.
