Haime comes to the Rio Grande Valley after receiving letters in both basketball and golf at the Perth and District Collegiate Institute...was an outstanding student-athlete during her prep career where she as selected as the Valedictorian of her graduating class...earned the Matheson Award for Leadership as well as the Albany International Award for Leadership...earned the Principle's Award in her final academic campaign...was a member of the Drama Club and served as the Co-President of the Student Council.

Haime is the daughter of Richard and Wendy Haime...was born on Mar. 12, 1987...has one sister-Natalie...her sister is a senior on the UTPA women's golf team is a published songwriter in Canada...majoring in communications/journalism...chose UTPA over Western University, Queen's Unversity and Carleton University.
