Chase Haselhorst joined UTRGV Athletics as Strength & Conditioning Assistant in July 2021. Haselhorst was promoted to Associate Strength and Condistioning Coach in July 2026.Â

He oversees all strength and conditioning for the baseball and men’s and women’s tennis programs. He also previously worked with women’s golf, women’s soccer, and volleyball.
Haselhorst has overseen three conference championship teams which includes two volleyball championships, 2022 and 2026, and one baseball, 2025.
He developed 31 All-Conference recipients, two All-American recipients, and multiple SLC superlatives, including but not limited to, Player and Newcomer of the Year.
Haselhorst came to UTRGV from Webber International University, where he spent two years as a Graduate Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach. In that role, Haselhorst was directly responsible for the program design and implementation of strength & conditioning activities for beach volleyball and cheerleading.
Haselhorst is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Prior to going to Webber International, Haselhorst worked as a Strength & Conditioning Graduate Assistant at his alma mater, McKendree University, in 2018-19, following an internship in the strength & conditioning area in the spring of 2018.
Haselhorst earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with minors in Sports Psychology and Sports Management from McKendree in 2018. He also completed his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Business Management at Webber International in 2020.
