Burton was the number-one seed at the 2005 National Under-18 Tournament where she advanced to the championship match... was ranked in the top-25 of the Provincial Under-18 class... captured the 2005 Western Ontario Head Bowl Circuit Title... advanced to the semifinals of the Toronto Megacity Tennis Championships as the second seed in the tournament and reached the semifinals of the 2005 Davisville Junior Open... was a member of the Oakville Academy of Tennis, Lakeshore League and Wallace Park and Bronte Tennis Club... earned honorable mention Academic Honors while at Oakville Trafalgar High School.
