Located on the northwest corner of campus, UTRGV Baseball Stadium opened its gates in 2001. Its dimensions of 325-380-410-380-325 allow for a spacious outfield and a pitcher friendly environment on natural grass.

UTRGV has played at UTRGV Baseball Stadium since 2002. The stadium initially opened as Edinburg Baseball Stadium in 2001.

UTRGV Baseball Stadium normally seats 5,000 fans, but can expand to 16,000 for concerts and other special events while providing parking for 3,000 vehicles. The stadium held a program record 6,418 fans for a game against Texas on April 26, 2022. Check out the photo gallery here.

Over the past five years, UTRGV Baseball has received major upgrades in facilities including:
  • The UTRGV Home Plate Club which features breathable mesh seats, a drink rail, ample leg room, and waitstaff for your food and beverages, brand new seats in sections E through L, a new brick back stop and new walls both in the outfield and down the foul lines were completed prior to the 2024 season.
  • A brand new home clubhouse that was completed prior to the 2023 season.
  • An upgrade to the stadium's 10 luxury suites that come fully equipped with air conditioning, TVs, kitchen appliances, refrigerators, an entertainment lounge, and 20 VIP seats in 2022.
  • Eight corrals, party decks featuring 10 spots each, were installed in 2020 with five more being added in 2022 for a total of 13 corrals in right field.
  • A new covered batting cage for our student-athletes was installed in 2020.
In addition to these recent enhancements, UTRGV created the Coach Al and Joann Ogletree Plaza and features a statue of the late legendary head coach Al Ogletree and his late wife of 62 years, Joann, which opened on Feb. 24, 2017.

A new scoreboard and video board were installed in 2016. The video board measures 17.8'x13.6'. In 2015, new installations included a new irrigation system and new dugout fencing.
