This six-day camp is designed to allow campers, ages 12 and up, to learn how to become a better player. Campers will develop and work on hitting and fielding fundamentals as well as high-level mechanics in a small group session setting. They will also get exposed to high-level teaching and equipment to improve your all-around game skills.

July 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30: Kids Under The Lights

August 2: Summer Kids Camp

This camp is designed to benefit the player looking to develop fundamental baseball skills. Campers will be evaluated and grouped into teams based on skill level and age. They will be introduced to basic progressions and drills that develop the fundamental skills needed to compete in all aspects of the game.

August 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26: Youth Pitching Clinic

The eight-day Vaqueros Youth Pitching Clinic is designed to introduce young athletes, ages 5-12, to the fundamentals of pitching in a fun, energetic, and positive learning environment. Led by the UTRGV Baseball coaching staff and players, campers will learn proper throwing mechanics, athletic movement, and pitching fundamentals through age-appropriate drills and instruction.

Our goal is to build a strong foundation while helping each athlete develop confidence, coordination, and a love for pitching. Whether your child is brand new to the mound or already pitching in league play, this clinic individualized coaching to help them continue improving.

From August 3-26, the Vaqueros Youth Pitching Clinic will run every Monday and Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.

August 16: South Texas Prospect Camp

This camp is designed to give participants, ages 14 and up, the opportunity to showcase their abilities while being evaluated by college coaches. Position players will be evaluated in the 60-yard dash, hitting, defense, pop times, and arm strength, while pitchers will receive instruction through a guided bullpen setting. All campers will have the opportunity to speak with the UTRGV coaching staff, see facilities and learn the culture of UTRGV Baseball.

• The UTRGV Home Plate Club which features breathable mesh seats, a drink rail, ample leg room, and waitstaff for your food and beverages, brand new seats in sections E through L, a new brick back stop and new walls both in the outfield and down the foul lines were completed prior to the 2024 season.
• A brand new home clubhouse that was completed prior to the 2023 season.
• An upgrade to the stadium's 10 luxury suites that come fully equipped with air conditioning, TVs, kitchen appliances, refrigerators, an entertainment lounge, and 20 VIP seats in 2022.
• Eight corrals, party decks featuring 10 spots each, were installed in 2020 with five more being added in 2022 for a total of 13 corrals in right field.
• A new covered batting cage for our student-athletes was installed in 2020.
