On the second day of the New Mexico trip, the Broncs suffered a straight 7-0 loss to host team New Mexico State this Saturday (Feb. 21) afternoon at the New Mexico State Tennis Center.

The loss brings the Broncs to 0-5 for the season.

In the number-three spot in doubles' play, Beau Bernstein and Andrew Irving dropped a close 9-8 decision to Gustave Diep and Stefan McKinney. No. 55 ranked Eduardo Salas and Roman Stoisavljevic defeated Aswin Vijayaragavan and Nirvick Mohinta 8-5 in the number-one spot of the lineup, while Marcus Dornauf and Brett Bernstein were handed an 8-3 setback in the number-two spot of the rotation by Jim Brouleau and Arthur Surreaux.

Dropping only his second singles' match of the season, Vijayaragavan was defeated by Brouleau, 6-4, 6-4, in the number-one slot. Diep defeated Mohinta in the number-two spot in three sets by a score of 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 and Andrew Irving dropped a 6-4, 6-1 decision to Surreaux.

The Bernstein brothers dropped their matches in the fourth and fifth spot of the rotation as Brett was defeated 6-4, 6-4 by Matej Stakne and Beau was defeated 7-5, 6-2 by No. 55 Salas respectively. McKinney notched a quick 6-2, 6-1 victory over Dornauf in the final spot of the rotation.

The Broncs wrap up the New Mexico trip this Sunday (Feb. 22) as the face Idaho at 9:00 a.m. CT at the New Mexico State Tennis Center.
