The Broncs got on the board for the first time at the 15:12 mark on a Lauri Toivonen free throw, the first of five-straight points for the Broncs. After a pair of baskets by Grier and Lemon pushed the Braves' lead back out to 13, a Cleveland jumper with 11:56 remaining sparked a 9-0 run to bring the Broncs within 18-14 on a Boga layup five minutes later.

The Braves bumped their lead out to 15 when an Auston Barnes jumper punctuated a 16-5 run in the closing minutes of the first half, but the Broncs again pulled within eight when a Farrell three-point play capped an 8-0 run to make it 48-40 midway through the second half. The Braves, however, scored the next 10 points to push their lead into double-figures for the rest of the game.

The Broncs conclude this seven-game road trip on Monday at 7 p.m. when they visit Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
