Scouting the Islanders
The Islanders are coming off of a home win over Louisiana-Lafayette, 6-1 on Feb. 11 and 12. The match was played over the course of two days due to multiple rain delays. The Islanders are 13-1 in doubles, with the lone loss coming in a tiebreaker at No. 3 with Maider Martin and Mia Matuszak against ULL. They're also 24-6 in singles, including unblemished 5-0 records at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4. Four players are undefeated, including Sandra Burges, Martin and Stefania Nicolae, who are all 5-0, and Celia Rodriguez, who is 4-0.
