The Broncs jumped out to a 12-5 lead, but the Kangaroos pulled to within 17-15 on a Harrison layup with 10:15 remaining in the first half. The next time down the court, Hines made a jumper to spark a 12-3 run that saw the Broncs go up 29-18 on a Leathers jumper four minutes later.

The Broncs led by as many as 16 in the first half on a layup by junior Christian Hildebrandt with 1:01 left, and then immediately pushed their lead to 21 after threes by Farrell and Boga to start the second half.

The Broncs took their largest lead of the game at 57-35 when Boga hit a jumper to make it a 22-point game with 13:32 to go.
