VICTORIA – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) women's soccer team split into two squads and went 8-1-1 at a 7v7 Tournament hosted by the University of Houston-Victoria (UHV) on Saturday at the Cage.
 
Each squad competed in five 45-minute matches against teams including UHV, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas A&M International and Angelina College.

UTRGV is now 13-2-2 this spring.

UTRGV has two spring matches remaining, with the next one coming on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Texas A&M International.
