EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley women's soccer team (0-0-0, 0-0-0 WAC) opens its 2018 season when it hosts Texas Southern University (0-0-0, 0-0-0 SWAC), as part of the UTRGV Tournament, on Friday at 7 p.m. at the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex.

The first match of the UTRGV Tournament will feature Portland State vs. Oral Roberts at 4 p.m.
