EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) women's soccer team posted a 4-0 victory over the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) in friendly match on Saturday at the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex.
UTRGV got goals from sophomore
Gina Steiner, freshman
Shentatious Knox, junior
Sarah Bonney, and freshman
Kaitie Watson.
Bonney had assists on three of the goals for UTRGV.
"We had a great performance today," UTRGV head coach
Glad Bugariu said. "We scored some superb goals and had a solid performance from everyone on the field."
UTRGV will close out its spring schedule when it hosts Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on April 6 at 2 p.m. at H-E-B Park.
