EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) women's soccer team closed out the spring season with a 0-0 tie in an exhibition match against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Saturday at the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex.
UTRGV finishes the spring 2-1-1.
Freshman
Malie Lunardi made three key saves toward the end of the game to keep it scoreless.
"We didn't really create any chances and were fortunate to come away with a draw," UTRGV head coach
Glad Bugariu said. "Overall, we had a productive spring and this was a good game to have at the end. We're looking forward to seeing what we can do next season."
