CORPUS CHRISTI – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley women's soccer team (1-1-0) is set to face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (0-2) in its first road match of the season and the first match of the South Texas Showdown, presented by Navy Army Community Credit Union, at 7 p.m. at Dr. Jack Dugan Soccer and Track & Field Complex.

UTRGV will try and defend its title in the South Texas Showdown after winning it last year for the first time.
