RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros volleyball team opens competition for the 2022 season with a closed exhibition against Texas A&M International on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse. 
 
The match will not be open to the public. Fans will be allowed to attend UTRGV's regular season home opener on Aug. 30 against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi as part of the South Texas Showdown presented by Navy Army Community Credit Union.
