CORPUS CHRISTI – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's soccer team (7-5-5, 3-2-4 SLC) is set to visit the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders (8-4-5, 5-2-2 SLC), as part of the South Texas Showdown, presented by Rally Credit Union, on Friday at 7 p.m. at Dugan Soccer and Track & Field Stadium to close out their regular season.
The Vaqueros and Islanders are tied in the showdown standings at 3-3.
