RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Monday that junior Charlotte O'Keefe, of the women's basketball team, is the Killers Golf UTRGV Student-Athlete of the Week.
 
O'Keefe grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds while scoring three points and recording one steal against #5 Texas at the Moody Center in Austin on Sunday.
 
This was O'Keefe's seventh game of the season and third straight game with 10+ rebounds. On the season, O'Keefe ranks ninth in the nation in offensive rebounds (4.7), 14^th in total rebounds (135), and 17^th in rebounds per game (10.4).
 
O'Keefe also leads the Southland Conference (SLC) and is 29^th in the nation in double-doubles with five.
 
Up next for UTRGV is the first SLC road trip of the season. The Vaqueros will visit Southeastern at 6 p.m. Thursday and visit New Orleans at 2 p.m. Saturday.
